Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City, a World Cultural Heritage Site with a history of 5,000 years, has been fully covered by 5G technology. The application of 5G provides new means for cultural relic protection and tourism experience.

The Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City, (about 3300-2300 BC),is located in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province, with an urban area of 3 square kilometers and a heritage area of 14.34 square kilometers; with the addition of the buffer zone, it boasts 114 square kilometres. According to the World Heritage Committee, the ruin of the ancient city is an outstanding example of early urban civilization, showing an early regional state with a unified faith and supported by rice farming in the late Neolithic period.

According to the introduction, Liangzhu ancient city has introduced 5G technology. 5G+AR (augmented reality) fitting glasses, 5G+MR (mixed reality) holographic cultural relics and other new applications have been used to enhance the sense of visiting experience. 5G+ UAV is used for data acquisition; with 5G Internet of Things technology, manhole covers, garbage cans, smart street lamps, signs and other equipment in the park have been connected to the Internet. With 5G+VR synchronous classroom, remote teaching interaction has been realized.
